The Bring Your Own Boat program gives you access to the perfect position to watch the high-speed racing on the water – less than 50m away from the action – on the racecourse perimeter.

If you are planning to watch the race from your own boat, you will need to secure a flag to ensure you get the best vantage spot in the front row. Boats without a flag will be held outside the exclusion zone at least 200m behind the flag bearing boats.

The Bring Your Own Boat program is for boats for under 80 feet. Boats larger than 80 feet can be purchased via our Adrenaline Yachts program.

We are an international business committed to protecting your Personal Data. This Privacy Policy gives you detailed information on when and why we collect your Personal Data, how we use it and how we keep it secure. Please read this policy carefully alongside our Cookie Policy and our Data Retention Policy to understand our practices regarding your Personal Data and how we will treat it.

We operate a sailing league globally via a number of entities incorporated in several jurisdictions, including our parent company, Oracle Racing, Inc., incorporated in California, and other subsidiaries of Oracle Racing, Inc. incorporated in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere. Most of our IT systems are located in the USA and operated by us or third party organisations who we contract to deliver these services on our behalf. We are a Controller of the Personal Data we process and are therefore responsible for ensuring our systems, processes, suppliers, People and partners comply with Data Protection Legislation in relation to this information.

Depending on the location where our services are provided, any entity in our group may be the Controller in relation to your Personal Data. For example, information may be originally collected by us but then transferred to and processed by other entities within our group to enable us to operate the Website, events and SailGP series in the manner we determine appropriate. We adhere to the same strict standards of data protection across our group, and have procedures in place to ensure your Personal Data, to the extent it is transferred between us, is transferred securely.

We are a global company, and the data we collect from you, including your Personal Data, may be stored, Processed, accessed in, transferred to, and subject to requests from law enforcement in, jurisdictions outside of your home jurisdiction, including but not limited to the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Bermuda and other jurisdictions in which we or our service providers operate. For the purpose of the applicable Data Protection Legislation, we are the Controller of any Personal Data we Process. As a Controller, we are responsible for ensuring our systems, processes, suppliers and People comply with Data Protection Legislation in relation to the Personal Data we handle. We provide our People with training and require our People to comply with this Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy and our Data Retention Policy when dealing with Personal Data.

We take Personal Data Breaches very seriously, and are required to notify applicable governmental bodies responsible for data protection should a breach occur; for example, the Information Commissioner’s Office if a Personal Data Breach occurs in the UK.

Generally, we collect your Personal Data when you interact with us (for example, when entering into a relationship with us as a fan attending one of our events, a customer, a third party service provider or one of our People). However, from time to time we also need to collect Personal Data from third parties in connection with our relationship with you. We also look at how our users access and use our Website, so we can offer the best possible experience. Most of the Personal Data we collect is stored as part of our database, which is managed and controlled on our behalf by a third party supplier as a Processor.

For information about how long we hold your Personal Data, please refer to our Data Retention Policy. We will ensure we keep all Personal Data up to date and will archive and then permanently delete any Personal Data which is not necessary for us to retain.

As an international business and global racing league, Personal Data may be transferred between our various offices worldwide due to, for example, our shared IT systems and/or cross border working. We also use a number of suppliers in connection with the operation of our business and they may have access to the Personal Data we Process for the purposes of supporting our business processes. For example, an IT supplier may see your Personal Data when providing software support or a company which we use for a marketing campaign may Process contacts' Personal Data for us.

The right to ask for a copy of the Personal Data that we hold about you. The same right applies to any other person whose Personal Data you provide to us. Please note, this will only affect future activities and does not mean that Processing carried out before you withdraw your consent becomes unlawful.
